Reiki is a Japanese system of healing. It is based on the idea that there is a universal life force energy that flows through each of us. If there is a disruption to this energy, we become sick.  During a session, this energy flows from the practitioner's hands, helping to restore balance in the body.  This, in turn, can ease suffering.  Pain, medication side effects, autoimmune conditions, and many other health conditions can respond.  People often feel very relaxed and peaceful after a session.

A typical session is between 40-60 minutes.  Sessions can be done either sitting down or lying down, with the client fully clothed
